ALADYR, Latin American Association of Desalination and Water Reuse A.G. Was founded on November 30th, 2010 during the II International Desalination Seminar in Antofagasta City, Chile.
ALADYR's purpose is to promote, protect and develop technologies and projects in desalination and water treatment, water reuse and low consumption standards for sustainability and environmental respect by bringing people together to share their knowledge and experience in order to deliver a better water future for Latin America and the rest of the world.
The Association has the formal support of the Spanish Association of Desalination and Reuse (AEDYR), the International Desalination Association (IDA) and the Caribbean Desalination Association (CARIBDA). Both associations with a successful and efficient trajectory in terms of water treatment in Latin America and the world.
ALADYR supports its members in relation to public and private organizations linked to our goals; ALADYR also contributes in academia by the development of new knowledge, uses and technology and bets on the progress of professionals through meetings and seminars. Water desalination and reuse are options of vital contemplation in the face of the scarcity of this precious resource or the limited access to it.
GOALS
We work to be the leading association in the water reuse and desalination of water in Latin America, generating recognition from the professionalism of our members, the development of cutting-edge technology and support for environmentally friendly systems that preserve water and its efficient use.
Based on this premise, our essential objective is to be a support pillar in which partners can find the right answers to their needs in this sector.
The favorable relationship between highly qualified personnel, effective tools, constant updating and entrepreneurship are the pillars that sustain our actions.
